  • A Better Tomorrow* & A Better Tomorrow, A - Pt. 2*
Better known for Chow yun-Fat, but Ti Lung was the focus of the first one. Again shows his triumph over evil, in spite of a whiny, nasty little cop brother and Chow. Extraordinary amounts of bloodshed, but not a lot of fighting.
  • *Kung Fu Killer/Angry Guest
Sequel to Duel of Fists. The evil guys come to HK for revenge from the previous movie. Again has evil Japanese behind it all. Extraordinary amounts of bad 70s clothes but extremely fun.
  • Anonymous Heroes
May be alternate title for 4 Riders.
  • *Avenging Eagles
Ti Lung and Fu Sheng. They are just wonderful together, and its a shame that Fu Sheng is gone... Ti Lung triumphs over his evil upbringing. Excellent fights. Boy is he good with that 3 sectioned staff. Excellent acting as well.
  • Battle for the Republic of China
  • *Barefoot Kid
Ti Lung and Aaron Kwok... What more could you ask!
  • *Black Magic
He must have owed a serious debt to someone to be in this exploitation film...Prancing around in shorts, kissing girls, frolicking in a pool...I enjoyed it, but its not the usual fare...
  • * Blade of Fury
He plays the Young Master [?] He doesn't fight much and its a typical patriot film.
  • Dynasty of Blood/Blood Brothers
Ah Lung and David don't know whether to kill each other or kiss each other... Chen Kwan Tai is also quite good.
  • *Blast of the Iron Palm/Brave Archer III
He should never play a bald monk again...
  • * City War
Chow yun-Fat and Ti Lung switch personalities... Ti Lung kicks major but and cops major attitude, but as he is on the police force this time it is more acceptable. Way cool, they are wonderful together.
  • Clans of Intrigue
  • Clean My Name Mr. Coroner
  • Dead End
  • Deadly Breaking Sword
  • *Deadly Duo
Ti Lung with a big ax, David Chiang and evil Mongols. Almost everyone dies again. It must be an early one as the fights are the slightest bit stilted but a lot of fun anyway.
  • *Drunken Master II
Ti Lung as the beleaguered father. I don't know, but having Jackie as your son would be a trial for anyone :) He, Jackie and Anita Mui worked beautifully together. It was also a huge acid flashback to see him fight Liu Chia Liang...
  • Drug Addicts
  • *Duel of Fists (excellent Thai Boxing!!!)
Great Movie! The fight game is dirty no matter what country you are in...Ti Lung garners the wrath of the local boss by refusing to fight for him. Obligatory whining girlfriend and David Chiang. Lots of reeeeaaaly bad 70s clothes.
  • *Duel of the Iron Fist
A Legend. What more can you say. Everyone dies. And they die wet and in mud...
  • Death Duel
  • Death Ring
  • *Delightful Forest/Koenig der Shaolin
Interesting movie. He seems to be a drunken prisoner but isn't. Even as an anti-hero he is still good. As my copy is in German, I'm having to guess at some of the plot but the Jailers are hilariously stupid and it funny to see him fight in the Chinese version of stocks...
  • Death Chamber/Shaolin Temple
  • Eight Man Army
  • Empress Dowager
  • Emperor and his Brother
  • *First Shot (the Untouchables but better!)
Great Stuff! He actually forgives the guy who shoots him in the back! Completely faceless in his quest for Justice. Brings new meaning to hard assed cop.
  • *5 Masters of Death/5 Shaolin Masters
Everyone is in this. Ti Lung shares time with Fu Sheng, David Chiang, Beardie, Gordon Liu, and pretty much everyone else at Shaw. The Shaolin Patriots fight the evil Manchus..
  • Friend from Inner Space
  • *4 Riders/Strike for Revenge
Sad buddy flick set in war ravaged Korea. Chen Kuan-tai is awful young in this too. Typical GI runs afoul of drug traffickers story.
  • Have Sword will Travel
  • Generation Gap
  • *Inheritor of Kung Fu/Heroic One/Wu Tang Collection-Soul Collector
I love this flick. Beautifully staged, wonderful costumes and boy he is cute in a braid. Excellent fights, he's rescued several times by a cool swords lady, magic, humor and explosions.
  • Shaolin Masters/Heroic Ones
  • Hidden Power of the Dragon Sabre
  • High K
  • *Iron Fingers of Death/Shaolin Prince/Death Mask of the Ninja
Another fun movie. Worth it alone for the 3 Holy Fools. Good Classic Shaw fun. Ti Lung is very cute/funny in this, especially in his fights with the evil Shaolin teacher.
  • *Iron Chain Assassin
Ti Lung is a framed man just out of Prison and looking for revenge on those who put him there. He intends to kill his persecutor with the chains from his prison. Several interesting plot twists, good fights and the hat affectation are all fun.
  • Jade Tiger
  • King Eagle
  • *Killers Blues
Hitman discovers guilt and tries to quit the business. Ti Lung is the hitman who wants to go right but you know, the triads never can leave you alone for very long...
  • The KinMen Bombs
  • *Kung Fu Instructor
Very cute with the little beard. He busts some serious heads with that staff. He is tricked into joining an evil clan but with the aid of a young lady, Good triumphs. Heroic Chastity at its best...
  • * Just Heroes
He was in it only a brief moment. He did look good in the Tux...
  • Last Tempest
  • Legend of the Bat
  • Legend of Wisely (small)
  • *Love Me, Love My Dad
  • *Magic Blade
Beautiful old time sword drama. And he looks exquisite in the clothes...
  • The Master Strikes Back
  • May Jane
  • Mercenaries from Hong Kong
  • Mistin Judge
  • Naval Commandos
  • New Born
  • *Ninja's Deadly Trap (extended cameo)
Snore for him but if you like the Venoms guys it is good.
  • Ninja in the Tigers Den (same as above???)
  • *Opium and the Kung Fu Master
Shows the evils of addiction. He is sucked into the influence of the evil drug but tragedy helps him break the hold. The last fight is great. Chen Kuan-Tai is also excellent.
  • *Paramount Motel
    very creepy.
  • *People's Hero
A fantastic film! Tense drama, good characters, very unexpected ending. A robbery gone wrong makes Ti Lung try one last time to escape from Hong Kong. Nothing goes right for him after that.
  • Perils of the Sentimental Swordsman
  • *The Pirates
Robin Hood in the South China Sea. He is the Pirate Captain who helps the poor peasants rebuild their lives. The local heiress hates him and hires David Chiang to catch him. He doesn't...
  • Pursuit of Vengance
  • *Revenge of the Zombies/Black Magic II
Again, I would pay big to find out who he owed and what for...Not the sort of flick usual for Ti Lung. Bad horror/exploitation. I did enjoy it lots, though, when he had to eat the old Master's eyes...
  • *Return of the One Armed Swordsman [had to have been one of his first movies!]
Unbelievably young in this. He gets a good chunk of screen time but is killed for talking sh*t to a lady assassin instead of watching her knives.
  • Return of the Sentimental Swordsman
  • Revenger
  • Roving Swordsman
  • *Run Don't Walk
Would have been infinitely better without Richard Ng, who is not at all funny. Here Ti Lung shows off his excellent physical comedian skills and looks luscious in the bath tub. He is an ex-bank robber who the cops won't leave alone. While getting a new bank book he is taken hostage by an idiot amateur bank robber and trouble follows.
  • The Savage 5
Danny Lee, Chen Quan Tai and almost everyone else is in this.
  • 7 Man Army
  • *7 Soldiers of Kung Fu/108 Heroes/All Men are Brothers
How cute we are in that Shaolin Abbots outfit.
  • *Shanghai 13
Everyone and his brother is in this flick. Lau Tak Wah was a real surprise to see here. Ti Lung doesn't show up until the end, but what an end. You can't even see that pole he's swinging, its so fast. Marvelous final fight.
  • Sentimental Swordsman
  • *Sentimental Swordsman Returns
Pretty sword flick. He has a delightful outfit. He and Er Tung Sheng are quite nice.
  • Shaolin Hero/The Heroes
  • Soul of the Sword
  • Spiritual Boxer
  • Singing Killer
I understand this is more of a David Chiang flick and that Ti Lung gets wasted early...
  • Star Runner
  • Swordsman and the Enchantress
  • *The Kid
With Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing. He playes the local cop on the beat. He's a wizard with that yoyo. A nice modern drama.
  • *10 Tigers of Kwangdong
Again, he and Fu Sheng are like two kids fighting. Half the Venoms gang is in it too.
  • They Call Him Mr. Shatter(Hammer/Shaw)
Ti Lung tries his hand at Hammer Films. He speaks English....Thank You Jade for getting it to me!!!. And well worth the wait it is. Boring as a spy movie but, the training class is beautiful, he's actually in some nice clothes [I want him in that leather jacket] and they show the tatoos...and there's no David Chiang to be seen... There is a new remastered version that is beautiful!
  • *Tiger on Beat(cameo)
Worth it alone to see him kick Conan Lee's butt and wear loud plaid pants.
  • Tiger Killer
  • *Triple Irons/New One Armed Swordsman
David Chiang is no Wang Yu, but gives a good effort. Angst and revenge on parade. The prototype for "you killed my friend so I will waste your entire army single handed" romp. They tend to stare at each other in a rather unusual fashion...
  • Trilogy of Swordsmanship
  • *True Colors
He is an ex-triad guys who visits his old buddy when he gets out of jail. His old buddy is a priest who works with troubled boys.
  • Vengence
Lots of talking but little Ti Lung...
  • Wandering Swordsman
  • *Warrior's Tragedy
It was fantastic! It made no sense but the wire fu was to a minimum. They gave him bad hair, a machete and a scowl...Even in his 40's he could kick *ss. Let the man go with a sword and all will come down around his ears.
  • Water Margin
  • Young Lovers on Flying Wheels
  • Young Rebels
